The Sport of Kings

Cuba won another race for us on Mother's Day - a $30K Allowance / Optional Claiming (he was in for the $50K claiming tag). He crushed a field of 7 other horses, including one of Todd Pletcher's. His odds that day were 7-2, so we all made a bit of money at the betting window as well. It was fun to see them at Monmouth again because it was on TVG and we were all able to watch it. The next stop for him will be a minor Stakes race on Father's Day at Monmouth ($60K purse) that will be restricted to NJ-bred horses. He will be one of the favorites for sure and we plan to have a nice big entourage there to cheer him on. After that, we might target Saratoga. It will depend on how well he comes out of that race.
